Yiwen Wang is a picture-book author and illustrator. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design and a Master’s degree from Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), where she specializes in picture-book creation and visual narrative.

Her work places greater emphasis on content, emotion, and warmth than on visual aesthetics alone. Her work is selected for several international illustration awards and exhibitions,
including the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition, Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition, BIBF International Illustration Competition, and Golden Key Picture Book Competition.
